Can I use this soap for washing my hands, face, or body?

This product is designed as a household cleaning soap, not a personal cleanser. The 72% fatty acid base that makes it effective on fabric grease and dirt also gives it a high pH (typically 9–10), which strips natural oils from skin much more aggressively than body soaps or shower gels formulated around pH 5.5–7. Occasional brief contact — like washing your hands after a cleaning task — is generally fine for most people, but regular use for bathing, face washing, or frequent hand washing will likely cause dryness, tightness, or irritation, particularly if you have sensitive skin, eczema, or a compromised skin barrier. If you must use it on skin, rinse thoroughly and follow with a fragrance-free moisturizer. For routine personal hygiene, choose a product labeled for body or hand use; those contain superfatting agents, glycerin, or milder surfactants that protect the skin's acid mantle.
