Can I use this shower gel on my face?

A body wash can technically be applied to the face, but this product is not designed for facial skin. Its formula contains menthol, fragrance and surfactants typical of body washes, which can irritate the thinner and often more reactive skin on the face, especially around the eyes and nose.

If you still want to use it there, follow these precautions: wet your face, use only a small amount, avoid the eye area and the lips, and rinse thoroughly with water. If any stinging, redness or watering of the eyes occurs, stop using it on the face. Also avoid using it on broken, sunburned, chafed or otherwise irritated facial skin.

For daily face washing, a dedicated facial cleanser with a milder surfactant system and minimal fragrance is usually the safer choice. If you do not want a second product, a simple approach is to use this gel only on the body and reserve your gentlest cleanser for the face.
