Can I use this scrub on my face?

No — this is a body scrub, not a facial exfoliator. The Dead Sea salt crystals are designed to polish the thicker, tougher skin on the body, especially areas like elbows, knees, legs and heels. The same crystals are too coarse for the thin, more delicate skin on the face, where they can easily cause redness or micro-tears, particularly on the cheeks, nose and jawline.

Keep the scrub below the jawline. It is fine on areas with thicker skin, such as hands, feet and heels, but avoid the neck, the skin around the eyes and any area that is sunburned, irritated or broken. If your goal is smoother facial skin, choose a gentle facial exfoliator with much finer particles instead — a salt scrub with this texture simply does not belong on the face.

If you ever get the scrub into your eyes while rinsing, flush them with plenty of clean water.
