Can I use this lotion together with sunscreen, and does the order matter?

You can and should use both when outdoors in sunny, insect-active conditions. The correct order is sunscreen first, allow it to fully absorb (about 10–15 minutes), then apply this repellent lotion over the top. This sequence ensures the sunscreen forms its protective film on the skin without being diluted or disrupted by the repellent. Do not rely on a combined sunscreen-repellent product, because sunscreen typically needs reapplication every two hours (or after swimming/sweating), while repellent reapplication intervals are longer. Reapplying a combined product at sunscreen frequency would overexpose the child to the repellent actives. When it is time to reapply sunscreen, wash or wipe the skin if practical, reapply sunscreen, let it absorb, then reapply the repellent only if the label interval allows it.
