The three core ingredients — argan oil, glycerine, D-panthenol — are common in body and nail care because they address the same dryness mechanisms: lipid depletion, low water-holding capacity and compromised barrier. Massaging a small amount into cuticles and the nail plate after hand washing keeps the proximal nail fold supple and reduces hangnail formation. Rough patches on elbows, knees or heels also respond to the same lipid-plus-humectant approach; apply after showering while skin is warm and damp. However, the skin on the face is thinner, has more sebaceous glands and a different pH, so a dedicated facial moisturiser is preferable — this hand cream is not formulated or tested for facial use. Avoid applying to broken skin, open cracks or inflamed areas; those need a barrier ointment or medical product. The "external cosmetic use only" note on the packaging applies to all body areas. If you experience irritation anywhere, stop use on that area.
