Can I use this cream-balm on any part of the body, and who should skip it?

The cream-balm is designed for the skin around the knees, shoulders, back, elbows and similar tension-prone areas. That makes it a massage balm for local use rather than an all-over body lotion. It can also be used on the neck and calves if they feel stiff after physical effort, but only on intact skin and only if you stop at the first sign of irritation.

It is not for internal use and should not be swallowed. Avoid applying it to damaged, broken or irritated skin. Because the formula contains menthol and aromatic oils of eucalyptus, juniper and cypress, it may be too strong for very sensitive skin. If you tend to react to scented balms, apply a small amount to the inner forearm first and wait to see how the skin reacts before using it on larger areas.

People with chronic skin conditions should be cautious with essential oil-based products. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a chronic condition, or are taking medication, consult a specialist before use. If you experience a burning sensation beyond the expected cooling-warming effect, redness or a rash after application, discontinue use. For persistent, severe or worsening discomfort, seek medical advice.
