This cream includes UVA/UVB filters, which means it contributes some photoprotection during incidental exposure — walking to the car, sitting near a window, a short lunch outside. However, cosmetic moisturisers with SPF are typically applied more thinly than the 2 mg/cm² used in lab testing, so the actual protection you get is often lower than the labelled value. For reliable daily defence against photoageing and pigment changes, apply a dedicated broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher, UVA circle logo) after this cream has absorbed, or use the sunscreen as your final daytime step instead of relying solely on the cream's filters.
If you prefer a streamlined routine, you can use this cream at night (when the retinol and hyaluronic acids work without UV interference) and choose a separate daytime moisturiser with or without SPF, followed by a proper sunscreen. The Cube3 hyaluronic acid complex — high, medium, and low molecular weight forms — works well both day and night to bind water at different epidermal levels, so you still get the hydration benefit whenever you apply it. Just remember that retinol makes skin more photosensitive, so daytime sun protection becomes even more important while using this product.
Reapply sunscreen every two hours during prolonged outdoor exposure, after swimming, sweating, or towelling off. The cream's filters are not water-resistant and will not hold up under those conditions.
