Malavit on Altai mägedest pärit tuntud vedelkontsentraat, mida kasutatakse nii naha kui ka suuõõne hügieenis. The 50 ml bottle contains a concentrated water-based solution rather than an alcohol tincture, so it feels gentle on the skin and mucous membranes. The formula traditionally combines mineral complexes (including copper and silver complexes) with extracts of Altai herbs and resins such as cedar gum, oak bark, pine buds, sage, chamomile, peppermint, calamus, celandine, yarrow, thyme, calendula and mumijo. This is why Malavit is often called a herbal-mineral concentrate — it works through the combined action of plant tannins, essential oils and mineral ions on the skin surface.

How it is usually used:

• Skin: applied to clean skin on minor scrapes, insect bites, irritated spots or areas prone to blemishes — either undiluted with a cotton pad or diluted with water as a compress.
• Mouth and throat: diluted with warm water (commonly 5–10 drops per half glass) and used for rinsing to freshen the mouth and soothe the gums.
• Face: diluted as a tonic-like rinse for oily or problem-prone skin, where a mild astringent feel from tannins is welcome.
