HERBAL TRADITIONS cosmetic balm with celandine is a cosmetic product based on herbal ingredients, designed for the care of local areas of the skin. Suitable for use on rough and uneven-textured skin, helping to improve the overall appearance and condition of the skin.

INGREDIENTS (INCI): Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Leaf Oil, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark Oil, Thymus Serpillum Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil, Salvia Officinalis Oil, Pinus Sylvestris Oil, Pinus Sibirica Seed Oil, Chelidonium Majus Extract.
USE: Apply cream or petroleum jelly around the skin defect. Then, using the applicator, apply one drop of the balm directly to the skin defect. Use once daily for 3-5 days to remove warts. For dry corns, use 1 drop of the product once daily for 5-7 days. Product contact time with the skin: 7-10 minutes. Do not apply to birthmarks!
WARNINGS: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. For external use only. In case of allergic reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
STORAGE: Store at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C, in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children, at a relative humidity not exceeding 75%.

HERBAL TRADITIONS with celandine is a spot cosmetic balm for small areas of rough, thickened and uneven skin. It is used locally when an ordinary cream or exfoliant is no longer enough, for example on dry calluses or areas with pronounced keratinisation. The 3 ml format with an applicator is designed precisely for very accurate application rather than treating large areas of skin.
The main action here comes from the alkaline component Sodium Hydroxide. In cosmetic products of this type, it acts on the dense keratin of the hardened outer skin layer, gradually softening and breaking down its structure. That is why the product is applied strictly to the problem area, while the healthy skin around it is protected with cream or petroleum jelly. This is a case where precision of application really matters more than quantity: contact of the active alkali with normal skin may cause strong irritation.
Celandine Chelidonium majus is included for a reason. In traditional practice, celandine juice has been used for centuries specifically for local care of warts, calluses and other dense skin formations. The plant contains alkaloids, organic acids and other active compounds, which is why it has traditionally been associated with a pronounced local effect. Today, celandine is more often used as an additional plant ingredient, while the main controlled effect of such formulas is created by the combination of keratolytic and softening substances.
The formula also contains tea tree, sage, thyme, pine, cinnamon and bergamot oils. These essential oils are well known for their rich content of terpenes and phenolic compounds. For example, terpinen-4-ol from tea tree oil is actively studied for its antimicrobial properties, while thymol from thyme has long been used in cosmetic formulas for problem skin.
The balm is intended for short-term spot application as a course. It must not be applied to moles, mucous membranes, the skin around the eyes or healthy skin. This is not a universal cream, but a concentrated product for a very specific task: when a small area of rough or heavily keratinised skin needs careful targeted treatment.
