Hydrogen peroxide 3% solution from Samaramedprom is a classic antiseptic liquid that has been a staple of home first-aid kits for decades. In a 100 ml bottle you get a clear, colourless solution of hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) in water at a 3% concentration — the standard strength used for minor wound cleansing and surface disinfection.
The mechanism is simple and well known. When the solution touches damaged skin, blood or tissue enzymes (mainly catalase) break hydrogen peroxide down into water and active oxygen. You see the familiar white foaming — those bubbles are oxygen being released. The foam mechanically lifts dirt, pus, blood clots and dead tissue out of the wound, while the released oxygen creates a short-lived environment that is unfavourable for many anaerobic bacteria. The effect is gentle and short, which is exactly why 3% peroxide is considered a mild, first-line antiseptic rather than a strong disinfectant.
The 100 ml format is handy: compact enough for a travel kit, the car or a backpack, yet large enough for household use. Store the bottle tightly closed, away from light and heat — hydrogen peroxide is sensitive to sunlight and gradually loses activity, which is why a darker storage spot helps keep the solution working as intended throughout its shelf life.
A few sensible cautions. Hydrogen peroxide 3% is intended for external use only — do not swallow it and avoid contact with the eyes. It should not be poured into deep, puncture or heavily bleeding wounds, nor used on large burns, and it is not recommended for repeated rinsing of clean, healing tissue, because active oxygen can also irritate young cells and slow regeneration. If a wound is deep, dirty, caused by a bite, does not stop bleeding, or shows signs of infection (increasing redness, swelling, pus, fever), consult a healthcare professional instead of relying on home antiseptics.
