The main ingredients work together in different ways: argan oil is rich in fatty acids and helps reduce moisture loss from the skin surface; vitamin B5 helps attract and hold water; collagen forms a light moisture-binding film on the surface; vitamin E provides antioxidant support. Because the formula relies on surface hydration and film formation, it is suitable for all skin types, including skin that is normal but temporarily dehydrated.
Yes — in colder months, this product is specifically described as giving a more cushioned texture under makeup, which can help if your foundation tends to look patchy or cling to dry patches. To use it as a makeup base, apply a thin layer to clean skin and let it absorb for a few minutes before applying foundation. You do not need a large amount: a pea-sized portion spread evenly over the face is enough to soften and smooth the surface.
