Dr.Sante Burdock Hair Mask is a cosmetic intensive-treatment hair mask from the Dr.Sante range, formulated with a complex of burdock extract (Arctium lappa), black radish extract (Raphanus sativus var. niger), inulin from Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus), arginine and essential oils of eucalyptus, ginger and cinnamon, for the intensive cosmetic care of weak, thin, brittle and damaged hair. Burdock root extract (Arctium lappa) provides sterols, sesquiterpene lactones and inulin-type fructans; its traditional role in hair care cosmetics is attributed to its scalp-soothing and follicle-conditioning properties. Black radish extract (Raphanus sativus var. niger) provides sulphur-containing compounds including raphanin and glucosinolates, which have a traditional use in scalp cosmetics for their conditioning properties. Inulin from Jerusalem artichoke tuber (Helianthus tuberosus) is a prebiotic polysaccharide fructan that forms a conditioning film on the hair surface, improving hair smoothness, reducing frizz and providing a protective coating. These three botanical actives together saturate the hair follicles with nutrients necessary for supporting healthy hair. Arginine (L-arginine) is a nitrogen-bearing amino acid that contributes to the hair shaft's protein structure via the protein film formation mechanism. Eucalyptus, ginger and cinnamon essential oils provide a toning and invigorating scalp sensation, stimulating circulation at the skin surface level and giving the formula its characteristic fresh, spicy aroma.
