What This Cream Is For
Allgäu Body Cream with St. John's Wort and Chamomile, 250 ml is a body cream for skin that feels dry, rough or easily irritated after washing, shaving or exposure to wind and cold. People usually choose this type of formula when they want a richer texture than a lotion and a calmer, softer skin feel without a complicated regimen.
Key Ingredients
- St. John's wort oil — valued in cosmetic use for its skin-conditioning and soothing properties; helps reduce the feeling of tightness and leaves the surface more supple.
- Chamomile oil — traditionally used in topical products for delicate skin; helps soften and calm the skin barrier.
Together, these plant oils work as emollient and soothing ingredients: they help reduce moisture loss, smooth dry areas and improve how the skin feels after application.
When to Use It
This cream suits people who want a classic herbal body product for areas prone to dryness, such as:
- Legs, arms and elbows
- After a shower or bath
- After time outdoors in wind or cold
- Whenever the skin feels less elastic and needs a more nourishing texture
Important Notes
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Stop use if irritation or an allergic reaction appears.
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Pay attention to individual sensitivity, as with any herbal cosmetic.

Customer Questions
This cream has a richer, more substantial texture than many body lotions. It is designed for moments when your skin feels particularly dry, rough, or lacking elasticity, especially after washing, shaving, or exposure to wind and cold. The key difference lies in its formulation with plant-derived oils like St. John's wort and chamomile, which act as emollients. These ingredients work to condition the skin's surface, helping reduce moisture loss and create a softer, more supple feel. You might choose it over a lotion for targeted areas prone to tightness, such as elbows, knees, and shins, or for overall use when your skin needs a more nourishing and longer-lasting layer of comfort. It's a practical option for those seeking a classic herbal product focused on improving skin texture and reducing the feeling of dryness.
St. John's wort oil and chamomile oil are valued in cosmetics for their skin-conditioning and soothing properties. As with any product containing botanical extracts, it's important to pay attention to individual sensitivity. Perform a patch test on a small area of skin before widespread use, especially if you have known sensitivities to plants in the Asteraceae family (which includes chamomile). For this specific product, do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop use immediately if any irritation or signs of an allergic reaction appear. The cream is for external use only; avoid contact with eyes. When applying, a little often goes a long way due to the richer texture—massage it in thoroughly until absorbed. These oils help soften the skin barrier and improve how the skin feels, making it a suitable choice for general skin comfort when used as directed.
