AromaSaules Cosmetic Plant Coconut Oil 60 ml from AromaSaules (Latvia) is a pure cold-pressed cosmetic coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) for skin and hair care, particularly suitable for dry, sensitive skin prone to dryness and irritation. Coconut oil is one of the most classic and widely used plant cosmetic oils in skincare and haircare, valued for its highly emollient and nourishing properties: its principal fatty acid is lauric acid (C12 saturated fatty acid, approximately 47% of the fatty acid profile), which gives coconut oil its characteristic semi-solid texture at room temperature (melting point ~24°C) and its highly effective skin-conditioning, barrier-supporting and moisture-retaining cosmetic properties. On skin application, coconut oil creates a characteristic lightweight occlusive film on the skin surface, contributing to moisture retention, protection from environmental factors (sun, wind, frost), and a notably smooth and softened skin feel. For hair care, it penetrates the hair shaft (due to its relatively small molecular size), nourishing and conditioning hair fibres from within.
