EKEL Cosmetic Glycerin 50 ml is a simple leave-on skin moisturiser for face and body, chosen when skin feels rough, tight or prone to flaking. Its main role is to help the skin hold onto water. Glycerin is a classic humectant: it attracts moisture to the upper layers of the skin, so the surface feels softer and looks less dull.

The formula is made more interesting by the addition of D-panthenol, allantoin and lanolin. D-panthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is widely used in skincare because it helps keep the skin barrier in better condition and is appreciated when the skin is irritated by wind, dry indoor air or frequent washing. Allantoin is known for its soothing effect and helps reduce the feeling of roughness. Lanolin forms a light protective layer that slows moisture loss and leaves the skin more supple without blocking normal skin function.

This kind of product fits well into a simple skincare regimen when you want extra moisture in targeted areas: for example on dry cheeks, around the hands, elbows, knees or other places that need a softer finish. It can also be useful in colder weather, after washing, or whenever the skin feels less elastic than usual. Because the texture is concentrated, a small amount is often enough.

Although EKEL glycerin is versatile, it is best introduced carefully if your skin is very reactive or you dislike richer textures, as lanolin and fragrance may not suit everyone. Apply to clean skin and avoid the eye area or freshly injured skin unless you know your skin tolerates it well. If irritation appears, stop use.
