According to the card, the composition includes a standardised extract of the whole Bacopa monnieri (L.) Penn. plant (family Scrophulariaceae) and a capsule shell with the glazing agent E464 (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose); each capsule contains 500 mg of extract. The card does not state which substance the standardisation is based on or what its content is, nor does it compare the extract with powdered herb.
