BISOU Cleansing and Refreshing Face Wash Gel for Combination and Oily Skin is a cosmetic daily face cleanser formulated for combination and oily skin types with a tendency toward enlarged pores and excess sebum production. The gel features two key natural actives: blue-green algae extract (marketed as "blue retinol" — a phycocyanin-rich cyanobacterium extract with antioxidant skin-conditioning properties and natural protein complexes) and papaya (Carica papaya) extract, which contains papain, a naturally occurring plant protease that gently helps to dissolve excess sebum and desquamated cells from the skin surface, normalising the activity of the sebaceous glands and refining the skin texture. The gel provides effective deep pore cleansing while leaving the skin surface refreshed and glowing without tightness or dryness.
