The main difference is the protein content. According to the label, a 55 g serving provides 14 g of protein, which comes from two sources: whey protein concentrate and milk protein. Whey protein is absorbed quickly, while milk protein provides a more even and longer-lasting feeling of fullness. An ordinary sponge biscuit with cream usually contains several times less protein and is based mainly on flour and sugar.
The product is designed for those who keep track of the amount of protein in their diet but do not want to give up sweet things. 14 g of protein per serving is a noticeable contribution for a snack, especially if it is hard to get enough from your main meals during the day.
