The Arm Support Sling (model 610C, Size 2, Toros-Group) is a soft scarf-type arm support bandage designed to hold the arm and forearm in an elevated, supported position against the chest. This type of sling is widely used to provide functional rest and support to the arm and elbow joint during the recovery period following arm injuries, elbow and forearm disorders, and post-surgical or post-traumatic situations involving the upper limb.
The device unloads the elbow joint and relieves mechanical stress on the various segments of the upper limb — including the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow — by transferring the weight of the arm to the neck and shoulder area via a comfortable textile neck strap. The support positions the arm in a comfortable, slightly elevated angle that reduces dependent oedema and supports recovery. The soft inner textile is gentle against the skin and compatible with post-surgical or sensitive skin. Size 2 is for adults with a standard arm length — see sizing guide on the packaging. USE: Apply per the fitting instructions on the packaging. Position the arm in the sling so the forearm is supported at approximately 90 degrees and the hand is slightly elevated. Adjust the neck strap for comfortable shoulder-area support.
CONTRAINDICATIONS / WARNINGS: Do not use in the presence of open wounds in contact areas. Discontinue use if pain or numbness increases. Consult a healthcare professional before use for arm injuries or post-surgical situations. Keep out of reach of children.

Fosta Toetav traksid / taskurätik / tüüp 610C-2 is a soft arm support sling designed to keep the forearm in a stable, slightly raised position against the body. People usually choose this type of bandage when the arm needs rest after strain, injury, or a procedure, and when extra movement feels uncomfortable or tiring. By holding the arm closer to the chest, the sling helps reduce the pulling effect of gravity on the elbow, wrist, and hand.
How it works
The way it works is mechanical and simple: instead of the arm hanging freely, part of its weight is transferred through the sling to the neck and shoulder area. This unloads the elbow joint and decreases stress on the forearm and wrist. A slightly elevated position may also help limit swelling, because the hand is not left hanging downward for long periods. The scarf-style shape spreads pressure over a larger area than a narrow strap alone, which makes the fixation feel steadier and gentler on sensitive or post-procedure skin.

Size 2 is intended for a standard adult arm length, so correct fit matters:
