This Pre- and Postnatal Support Belt (model 113, beige, Size 2) is a maternity and postnatal elastic support brace designed to provide gentle but effective support to the abdomen and lower back throughout pregnancy and in the postnatal recovery period. The belt wraps comfortably around the lower abdomen and back, distributing the weight of the growing uterus and baby more evenly to reduce the postural strain placed on the lower back, sacrum, and pelvis.
During pregnancy, the belt helps to support the weight of the abdomen, reducing load on the spine and relieving common discomfort associated with the ligament and postural changes of pregnancy. Postnatally, the sustained gentle compression supports the gradual recovery of abdominal muscle tone. The belt is constructed from a soft elastic fabric in neutral beige that sits comfortably under maternity and regular clothing.
