This pyramid was made from unprocessed classical shungite, mined at the Zazhoginsky mine in Karelia (Russia). The stone used in its manufacture is of quality category 2 — the highest category for classical shungite. On the pyramid you will find various stripes and spots. These golden or gray inclusions represent pyrite and quartzite, two common additional elements in this mineral. This is an indication that you are looking at genuine classical shungite.
