Nevskaya Kosmetika Lemon-Glycerine Hand Cream is a lightweight daily cosmetic hand cream from the classic Nevskaya Kosmetika ("Neva Cosmetics") range, formulated with natural glycerine and lemon extract as the two principal active ingredients in a quickly absorbing, non-sticky formula. Natural glycerine (glycerol) is a trihydric alcohol and one of the most fundamental cosmetic humectants, attracting atmospheric water to the skin surface and reducing transepidermal water loss by forming a semi-permeable hygroscopic film on the stratum corneum. Lemon extract (Citrus limon) provides a rich natural source of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and citric acid, contributing a mild brightening and skin-toning effect through light AHA activity and antioxidant protection. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the skin (EU authorised health claim). The cream also provides nail-conditioning benefits through the moisturising action of glycerine and the vitamin C content. The formula spreads easily, absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky residue, with a pleasant, fresh lemon scent. 50 ml tube.
