Why does the formula contain calcium, D3 and K2 at the same time — isn't that excessive? — Mountain calcium D3 mumyoga tablets N80 – Evalar

Calcium, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are not interchangeable substances but links in a single chain, each of which performs a separate task.

Calcium carbonate is the mineral itself, which the body uses to maintain bone tissue, muscle contraction and the transmission of nerve signals. Without a sufficient supply of calcium from food or supplements, there is simply not enough of it.

Vitamin D3 is needed for calcium to be absorbed from the intestine at all. Without D3, even a high dose of calcium is poorly absorbed — which is exactly why they are traditionally combined in one product.

Vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 is involved in processes related to the distribution of calcium in the body. Its presence makes the formula more complete than the classic ‘calcium + D3’ pairings.

Mumijo (shilajit) complements the complex as a traditional natural ingredient that has long been used in formulas for bones and general vitality — it does not duplicate the vitamins but has its own separate place in the formula.

So each ingredient performs its own function, and their combined presence is a deliberate choice, not an excess. If you are already taking other products with calcium or D3, take the total intake of these substances into account and, if necessary, consult a specialist.
