Frequent hand washing removes not only dirt but also part of the skin's natural lipids, which is why hands can feel dry and tight. SILKY HANDS is formulated to address that in a few ways. Glycerin attracts water to the upper layers of the skin, olive oil and avocado oil form a light protective layer that slows moisture loss, and panthenol and allantoin contribute to a smoother, softer after-feel. The skin-friendly pH also makes the wash milder than harsher alkaline soaps.
That said, a wash is a rinse-off product: most of the conditioning ingredients go down the drain. It can help prevent the uncomfortable tight feeling, but it is not a substitute for a leave-on hand cream. If your hands are already very dry, cracked, or prone to irritation, use the soap and then apply a hand cream while the skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture. Avoid very hot water, which strips the skin more than lukewarm water.
If you notice redness, stinging, or worsening dryness, stop using the product and consider a different cleanser or a consultation with a specialist. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any skin condition.
