Will this balm weigh down fine or flat hair?

One of the main concerns with any rinse-out balm is whether it will flatten hair that already lacks volume. This formula uses Baikal blue clay, which contributes a lighter, cleaner feel compared to heavy silicone-based conditioners. Silver ions are included specifically to help the scalp feel fresh, which matters if your roots tend to go limp quickly after washing.

For fine or normal hair, applying the balm only to the mid-lengths and ends — avoiding the root area — is usually enough to get the softening and detangling benefits without adding weight near the scalp. The eight botanical flower waters in the formula also set it apart from standard silicone-heavy balms, giving it a more herbal, less coating character.

That said, every hair type responds differently. If you notice your roots losing volume after use, try reducing the amount slightly or limiting application to the very ends only. If your hair is thicker, the product can be distributed more generously throughout the lengths.
