Will the ruby shade work on my current hair colour?

The product is formulated for hair shades ranging from medium brown to light blonde. On darker bases (medium to dark brown) the ruby pigments add a subtle warm reflection and can make the overall tone look richer without a dramatic colour shift. On light blonde, highlighted, bleached, or porous hair, the cuticle is more open, so pigments attach more strongly and the ruby nuance will be visibly brighter and more intense. If your hair is largely grey or very light, expect a stronger deposit — the manufacturer recommends testing on a small, hidden section first to preview the result. Previously coloured or chemically treated hair may also take the tone more evenly than virgin hair. The final shade always depends on your starting colour, hair condition, and how long you leave the product on before rinsing. If you are unsure, do a strand test 24 hours before full application.
