Who should be careful with this drink?

Although chicory with rosehip is a caffeine-free food drink, there are several situations in which it is worth being careful.

  • Sensitivity to new foods. The inulin contained in chicory is a prebiotic fibre. In people with sensitive digestion or irritable bowel syndrome, large amounts of inulin can cause bloating or discomfort. Start with a small serving and assess your individual reaction.
  • Allergy to plants of the daisy family. Chicory belongs to this family, so people with a known allergy to related plants (such as ragweed, chrysanthemums or chamomile) should consult a specialist before drinking it regularly.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a doctor before introducing any new foods into your diet during this period.
  • Chronic conditions and medication. If you have chronic conditions or are on medication, check with a specialist whether this product is suitable in your particular case.

The drink is not a medicinal product and is not intended to treat or prevent any disease.
