Who is this scalp scrub suitable for, and what results should I realistically expect?

This exfoliator is suitable for people who notice oily roots, visible flaking, itchiness linked to build-up, or hair that quickly looks heavy at the roots. It may also be useful if you regularly use styling products, silicones or dry shampoo, because these can leave residue on the scalp that ordinary washing does not always remove fully.

With regular use before shampooing, the scalp may feel lighter, cleaner and more comfortable. Roots can look fresher for longer because excess sebum and product residue are being removed from the scalp surface more thoroughly. This is especially relevant if the hair looks flat soon after washing even when the lengths are clean.

It is also used as a preparatory step in broader hair-care routines, including routines with Radical serums or ampoules. The idea is practical: when the scalp is less congested, leave-on treatments are applied to cleaner skin instead of sitting on top of build-up. However, the scrub itself does not stop shedding or treat the cause of hair loss.

If you have severe hair loss, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis or another diagnosed scalp condition, check with a dermatologist or trichologist before adding an exfoliating product to your routine.
