The cream contains bee venom (apitoxin) and scorpion venom in diluted, standardised forms. When applied to the skin, these ingredients are meant to produce a mild warming and tingling feeling — many people describe it as a 'hot' sensation. It is not a cooling cream and not a neutral moisturiser; the warming effect is the main point.
The strength of the sensation depends on your individual skin sensitivity, the amount you apply, and the area you cover. On a small area like one shoulder you may feel a gentle heat; on a larger area like both calves it can feel stronger simply because more skin is involved. Some people feel it almost immediately, while others only notice it after a minute or two. This range is normal.
If you have never tried a venom-based cosmetic, do a small patch test first. Put a small amount on the inside of your forearm and wait at least a few minutes to see how your skin reacts. If you feel only warmth and maybe a slight prickling, that is the intended effect. If the skin becomes very red, swollen or painful, rinse it off with plenty of water and do not use the product.
A few practical points: start with a small amount, about the size of a pea, for one area. Avoid the face, eyes, mucous membranes and damaged skin. After application, wash your hands. The cream is a cosmetic product, not a medicine, and is not intended to address joint or muscle conditions.
