ELIXIR cream-balm is intended for local application to areas where the feet or joints feel stiff, tense or uncomfortable, such as the heel area, the arch of the foot or other small joint areas. Its role is supportive: it creates a warming, stimulating sensation on the skin and may help the area feel more mobile and comfortable during a daily care routine.
The formula combines an occlusive base of petrolatum, mineral oil and paraffin, which forms a protective film on the skin. This helps retain warmth and softens the skin surface, while supporting the contact of the active ingredients with the application area.
The warming effect comes from ingredients such as camphor, capsicum pepper extract and gum turpentine. These create local skin stimulation, which is commonly experienced as warmth, tingling or mild redness. The product also contains medicinal bile, traditionally used in products for joints and ligaments, plus burdock extract and fir and juniper essential oils for additional skin-conditioning, warming and toning effects.
