What does it feel like when I apply it, and is the heating effect very strong?

The warming sensation comes primarily from red pepper extract, which stimulates surface receptors on the skin. This creates a feeling of warmth that can boost local microcirculation and help the area feel less tense. Ginger oil adds another warming note, enhancing the overall effect.

The heating intensity can vary depending on individual skin sensitivity and the amount used. It's noticeable enough to be the main purpose of the balm for warming massage, but it shouldn't be painful. For your first time, apply a small amount (like a pea-sized dab) to a limited area and massage it in to gauge your skin's response. Wait a few minutes to feel the full effect before deciding if you need more. If your skin reacts strongly with significant discomfort or redness, discontinue use.

The formula also contains shark fat with squalene, which gives it a richer, emollient texture that spreads well and helps the balm glide during massage. This differs from lighter gels or lotions that might absorb quickly with less residual warmth.
