The fine coconut shell particles in this shower gel are a physical exfoliant. When you massage the gel onto wet skin, the particles create light friction that helps lift away dull surface cells. This is why the product can leave skin feeling smoother, especially on areas like elbows, knees, and upper arms, where skin often feels rougher. Because the particles are described as fine, the exfoliation is meant to be gentle, but the effect still depends on how you use it. Let the gel and water do most of the work: apply to wet skin, move your hand in small circular motions, and do not press hard. Rinse thoroughly afterwards so no particles remain on the skin. If your skin is sensitive, reactive, or already irritated, the particles may be too much, so use the product gently and see how it feels. Do not use it on damaged or broken skin. The exfoliating effect is part of the cleansing step and is not a substitute for a separate body scrub. It also does not remove the need to moisturise if your skin tends to feel dry after washing.
