In hair care, silica deposits microscopically on the fibre surface, which can make strands feel smoother, more elastic, and less prone to mechanical roughness from brushing or friction. Cotton extract contributes a conditioning, softening effect — it helps the cuticle lay flatter after rinsing, so hair feels more manageable and less tangled. Together they give a "clean but soft" finish rather than the stripped sensation of harsher shampoos.

Routine integration: apply to wet scalp, massage gently, rinse. Because the formula is light, follow with a conditioner or mask on mid-lengths and ends — this shampoo cleanses the root area without over-drying the lengths, but it doesn't replace a dedicated conditioner. It's designed for everyday use; if you wash daily, one lather is enough. If you wash every 2–3 days, you may prefer two rounds: first to lift surface residue, second to properly cleanse the scalp.
