What do AREGI vegetable chips taste like, and what are they made from?

AREGI Köögiviljakrõpsud are vegetable chips made from dried beetroot, sugar beet and carrots, with sunflower oil used in a small amount to help create a crisp bite. The colour comes from the vegetables themselves, so the mix has the bright red-orange tones you would expect from beetroot and carrots.

The flavour is different from classic potato crisps. Beetroot gives a rounded, earthy sweetness, sugar beet adds mild natural sweetness, and carrots bring a softer vegetable note and colour variety. Because the vegetables are dried, some of the water is removed and their flavour becomes more concentrated, so the snack can taste sweeter and more “vegetable-forward” than fresh raw slices.

They are a good option if you want a crunchy snack with a simpler vegetable-based ingredient profile, but they are still a snack rather than a replacement for fresh vegetables or a balanced meal. If you usually prefer very savoury or heavily seasoned crisps, expect these to feel more naturally sweet and earthy; if you like beetroot, carrot chips or vegetable mixes with dips and soft cheese, the flavour profile is likely to make sense.
