What can I use Botanika juniper essential oil for in my daily routine?

Juniper berry oil has a clarifying, toning character, which makes it a practical ingredient in several everyday cosmetic and aromatic routines.

Oilier-looking skin. When added to a lightweight carrier oil such as jojoba or grapeseed, juniper oil can make the skin feel fresher and less heavy. Use it as part of a short massage or as a pre-cleansing step. It is simply a refreshing cosmetic choice, not something that corrects or changes the skin.

Scalp care. For a scalp that gets oily quickly or shows flakes more easily, a traditional approach is to dilute a drop or two of juniper oil in carrier oil, massage it into the scalp before washing, and then rinse it out with shampoo. The point is to give the scalp a sensation of freshness before your normal wash, not to replace shampoo or specialised scalp care.

Massage blends. After physical effort, areas that feel tired can be massaged with a juniper blend. Its warming, stimulating aroma makes the massage feel more pleasant and adds a woodsy character. The oil does not remove tiredness by itself, but it supports the overall sensory effect of a massage.

Atmosphere. In an essential oil diffuser, one or two drops can create a clarifying woodland atmosphere. Juniper combines well with cypress, cedarwood, pine, lavender or sweet orange; start with these in small amounts and let the juniper note stay noticeable without dominating.

Because this is a concentrated essential oil, any blend that touches the skin must be diluted first. Do not use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and seek advice from a specialist if you have fragile skin or a chronic skin condition.
