Warming pepper products are traditionally used in several scenarios, each with its own logic.
- Before training or physical activity. Applying the balm to the muscles you are about to work helps increase blood flow to the area and makes the tissues more “ready” for movement. This is especially relevant in the cold season, when muscles warm up more slowly.
- After sport. When muscles are tired and feel “tight”, local warmth helps you relax and relieves the feeling of stiffness. The balm is applied to specific areas — calves, thighs, lower back — and, if you like, combined with a light massage.
- After getting chilled or spending a long time in the cold. If your legs or back feel tense after a walk in freezing weather, a warming balm helps restore a comfortable feeling of warmth in the tissues more quickly.
- After holding a static position for a long time. Long hours at a desk or a long journey by car or plane are situations in which the neck, shoulders or lower back become stiff. The balm is applied to these areas for local warming and relaxation.
The balm is rubbed only into the problem areas, 1–2 times a day — it is a product for local application, not for large areas of the body.
