The wax itself includes sunflower oil, which helps reduce the feeling of dryness after depilation and leaves the skin more supple. Calendula extract is included for its traditional soothing qualities, helping to calm the look and feel of temporary irritation after waxing. The pack also contains an aloe wipe, which you use after pulling off the strips to remove residual wax and leave the skin feeling softer.
Although the product is suitable for all skin types, skin can still react differently depending on how sensitive it is, whether you recently shaved, or whether you exfoliated shortly beforehand. If you know your skin is reactive, test one small area first, for example a patch on the inside of the wrist or a small area on the leg, before using the strips on larger parts of the body. Avoid using them on skin that is irritated, damaged or sun-exposed.
The sunflower oil and calendula extract already give the skin some soothing coverage during the treatment itself, but they are not intended to treat any skin condition. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a chronic skin condition or take medication, speak to a specialist before using a new depilation method.
