The warming description refers to the sensation you may notice while massaging the balm into the skin. A mild, comfortable warmth that fades after a few minutes is normal. It should not feel painful, and it should not leave the skin red or burning.
If you feel intense heat, stinging, or burning, stop using the product and rinse the area with lukewarm water. This can be a sign of sensitivity to one of the ingredients, such as the vitamin A derivative retinyl palmitate or the plant extracts. Before using the balm on a large area, apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm and wait 24 hours to see how your skin reacts.
Warming balms are commonly used for massage on areas that feel tense after physical activity or long periods in one position. The balm itself is a cosmetic product for skin comfort and moisture; it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a skin condition or are unsure whether massage is appropriate for you, speak with a doctor or physiotherapist first.
