The product is alcohol-free — does that mean it will suit sensitive skin with oily shine?

The absence of alcohol does indeed reduce the risk of harsh over-drying and irritation, which often occur with alcohol-based products for oily skin. This matters for those whose skin is both oily and reactive.

At the same time, the formula contains sulphur and zinc oxide, ingredients with a pronounced drying effect. For most people with oily skin, this is exactly what is needed, but sensitive skin may react to them in different ways: some feel no discomfort at all, others notice slight tingling or dryness with regular application to large areas.

The avocado oil in the formula partly offsets this effect and makes the texture softer than that of classic zinc pastes. Nevertheless, with sensitive skin it is worth starting with a small area and monitoring the reaction; this is sensible practice for any new product with active ingredients.

The product also contains no hormonal ingredients, which for some customers is an additional criterion when choosing cosmetics for problem skin.
