Should I use a moisturiser after this shower gel?

This shower gel is a rinse-off product: you lather it on, then wash it off with water. The aloe juice in the formula is included to help reduce the tight, stripped feeling that some cleansers leave behind, so skin should feel smoother and more comfortable immediately after rinsing compared to using a plain soap.

However, because it is washed away rather than left on the skin, the hydrating benefits are temporary. If your skin tends to be dry, or if you shower frequently, applying a body lotion or moisturiser after towelling off is a practical step to help maintain skin softness throughout the day. This is especially relevant in winter or in heated indoor environments, where skin loses moisture more quickly.

For the best result:

  1. Shower with lukewarm water and use a moderate amount of gel.
  2. Rinse thoroughly and gently pat the skin with a towel rather than rubbing vigorously.
  3. Apply a body moisturiser within a few minutes of showering, while the skin is still slightly damp, to help lock in hydration.

This gel is not a substitute for a dedicated moisturising routine if your skin requires regular hydration care.
