Beeswax is one of the key ingredients of the cream: it forms a thin protective layer on the skin's surface and helps retain moisture. Most people tolerate it well, but those who are sensitive to bee products may have an individual reaction.

Before using it fully, a simple test is recommended:

• Apply a small amount of cream to the inside of your wrist or the crook of your elbow.
• Wait 24 hours and check how your skin reacts.
• If redness, itching or discomfort appears, it is better not to use the product.

Besides beeswax, the formula contains white willow bark extract. If you are sensitive to plant extracts, a tolerance test is also advisable.
