Is the cream suitable for people with sensitive skin or an intolerance to essential oils?

The cream-balm contains menthol and cypress, juniper and lemon essential oils — ingredients with a strong scent and a cooling action. Most people tolerate them well, but in those who are prone to irritation or have heightened sensitivity to essential oils they could, in theory, cause discomfort.

Before the first full use, it is sensible to apply a small amount of the product to a limited area of skin and watch for a reaction. If redness, itching or burning appears within a few hours, it is best not to use it.

It is also important to remember that the cream is not applied to damaged skin — cuts, abrasions, cracks or inflamed areas — and should be kept away from the eyes. If you have a chronic skin condition, it is worth consulting a specialist before using any new cosmetic product.
