Dabur Amla is an oil with a fairly dense texture, so it should be used with care on an oily scalp or fine hair.
- Oily scalp. If your scalp gets greasy quickly, it is best not to apply the oil directly to it: this may increase the feeling of greasiness and make the hair get dirty faster. In that case it is better to apply it only along the lengths and to the ends, avoiding the root area, and always wash the oil out with shampoo.
- Fine hair lacking volume. Rich oils can weigh down fine strands and make them flatter. If you still want to try amla oil, use a minimal amount and apply it only to the ends — the driest part of the hair.
- Normal, dry and damaged hair. These are the types the oil suits best: it coats the cuticle, smooths it and makes the strands softer and shinier. The effect is especially noticeable with regular use of a hair dryer or heated styling tools.
If you are trying amla oil for the first time, start with a small amount on the ends and judge the result after rinsing. This will help you understand how well the product suits your hair, without the risk of overloading it.
