According to the instructions, the lotion can be used on children over 5 years old and on adults. The product is not intended for children under 5 – this restriction is given in the precautions.

When treating a child, take care to keep the product away from the mucous membranes and eyes. The lotion is applied to dry hair, spreading it thoroughly along the whole length and paying special attention to the root area, where parasites and nits are most often found. After the exposure time, the hair must be carefully combed through with a fine-toothed comb: this helps remove dead lice and detached nits.

If the scalp is damaged or has a skin condition, the lotion is not applied. With sensitive skin, or if in doubt about the reaction, it is worth consulting a specialist. The lotion is also not used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, including anise essential oil, and it must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
