The cream-mask formula includes vitamin A — an ingredient used in cosmetics to give the skin a smoother look and a less visible texture. The exact form of vitamin A is given in the ingredient list (INCI) on the packaging; with sensitive skin, any form of vitamin A should be introduced carefully: start with 2–3 applications a week and watch how your skin reacts.
If you already use products with retinol, AHA/BHA acids or other active ingredients, adding another product with vitamin A may increase the strain on your skin. In that case it is wiser to alternate: on days with acids or retinol, use a more neutral moisturiser, and apply the cream-mask on the other evenings.
Grape seed oil is considered a relatively light plant oil and is less likely to clog pores than heavier oils, but the skin's reaction is always individual. If you are prone to breakouts, test the product on a small area of skin before using it fully.
If you have a chronic skin condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult a specialist before introducing new cosmetic products with active ingredients. If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product is not used; if an allergic reaction occurs, stop using it and see a doctor; avoid contact with the eyes.
