Why might sediment appear in the elixir, and is this normal?

The presence of natural sediment in products like this is acceptable. It can form because of plant components in the chaga extract itself and does not mean the product has spoiled.

This is a characteristic feature of liquid mushroom and plant extracts: some natural compounds may settle over time, especially during storage. Before use, it is usually enough to shake the bottle gently so that the contents are evenly distributed.

Like any liquid supplement, the elixir should be stored according to the instructions on the packaging, as a rule tightly closed and away from direct light, and you should keep an eye on the expiry date. However, if its colour, smell or consistency has clearly changed in an unusual way, it is better not to use the product.
