No. According to the card, the patch is stuck with its adhesive side on clothes in the area of the upper chest or on any dry surface nearby; it is not stuck on the skin and is not applied to damaged areas of the skin. After the protective layer is removed, the essential oils evaporate from the surface of the patch.
