Can Nefrosten be taken with plenty of water, and does your drinking routine affect the result?

Drinking habits and plant-based supplements for the urinary system are closely linked. Components with a mild draining effect, such as the lovage in Nefrosten, are traditionally combined with adequate water intake — this is common practice in herbal medicine rather than a specific requirement of this particular product.

A guideline for most adults is about 1.5–2 litres of water a day, although needs vary depending on body weight, physical activity and climate. If you take Nefrosten at a time when you usually drink little, it makes sense to adjust your drinking routine at the same time: this will enhance the overall effect of the course.

Tea, coffee and sugary drinks do not replace plain water — when counting your daily volume, it is better to go by water or unsweetened herbal infusions. Nefrosten is a food supplement and is not intended to treat or prevent diseases of the kidneys and bladder.
