Korvalool-V contains a high percentage of alcohol, as well as isovaleric acid esters and hop oil — ingredients with a pronounced sedative profile. When taken at the same time as sedatives or antidepressants, the effects may reinforce each other, so this combination is ruled out.
This also applies to sleeping pills and anti-anxiety medication — even if they are taken irregularly or ‘as needed’. If you take other medicines, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this supplement.
The alcohol content deserves particular attention: it makes the product unsuitable for people who must avoid alcohol for medical reasons, as well as for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Older people and those who are sensitive to formulas of this kind are also advised to consult a specialist beforehand.
