Can the calorie blocker be taken on days with feasts or holidays, when it is hard to control what you eat?

The logic behind this choice is clear: on days when your diet goes beyond its usual limits, extra support with carbohydrate absorption may come in handy.

However, it is important to understand a few things:

  • The blocker works mainly on starch, that is, potatoes, bread, pasta and grains. It has no effect on fats, alcohol or simple sugars (cakes, sweets, sugary drinks). If the festive table is rich in exactly these foods, the effect will be minimal.
  • The supplement is not “permission” to overeat. The warnings on the packaging are a reminder of this too: it is important to maintain a balanced diet. Moderation in eating remains the foundation; the capsules can only slightly reduce the absorption of some carbohydrates.
  • It needs to be taken in advance, before the meal starts, not afterwards. If you only remember the capsule once you are already at the table, it will be less effective.

Taking it once on a festive day fits the logic of the product, but you should not count on it as “insurance against overeating”. The supplement works best as part of a systematic approach to eating, not as an emergency measure.
